Someone stated "There are so many other folks that move into "real life"... You're telling me baseball isn't life? (lol) Sure people move on, but how many people get the chance to work within the baseball environment on a professional level? Those folks get an incredible experience they will never forget, not to mention good experience in fields where gaining that experience is tough. Most of the staff I've spoken with over the years (regardless of team affiliation) are always professional, but also dedicated and smart. You take someone who is professional, dedicated and smart.....well those people are often on the move. Independant baseball isn't just about the game of baseball or moving players into affiliated baseball. Managers and coaches work on their game and go onto bigger things, so the same should be true of broadcasters all the way to the folks working behind the scenes in advertising, marketing etc.
