Notes
Ray Shearer was traded to Austin for Jim Frey on July 4. Koranda joined the team on May 12. Colloton was brought up from Cedar Rapids when Clark's hand was spiked, requiring stitches, Aug. 22.
- Bill George was acquired from Sherveport in early July. Beard pitched seven games with Houston, 22 with Austin and joined the Cats on Aug. 1. Ronnie Wells was sent to Pueblo of the Western League in early August. Schassler was a starting pitcher for first three weeks of the season, but was then sent to Macon of the Sally League.
