Maddock joins the Cats with 17 years of experience in independent league baseball. As manager of San Angelo of the Central League, he managed the team to the league title in 2002. From 2005-2008 he was in the Northern League. He also spent time in the Frontier League in both 2000 and 2004, and the All-American Association in 2001.
Maddock is an Arlington native and attended Sam Houston High School.
